SECTION A —
READING & ANALYSIS
Using past papers and exam-style texts, learners develop active reading skills to identify key language and structural techniques.
They then learn how to analyse their findings and develop them into clear, effective written responses.
SECTION B — TRANSACTIONAL WRITING
Learners explore the three key transactional writing formats and learn how to structure their responses effectively.
The focus is on writing with purpose, adapting to audience and using language to engage and influence the reader.
SECTION C — IMAGINATIVE WRITING
While learners have a choice of writing options, learners develop the skills to plan, structure and craft engaging stories.
The focus is on crafting responses that are engaging, thought-provoking and memorable.
